Kickback

This is my third game jam (Game Dev is hard).

This project is a fast-paced 2D platformer focused on unique player movement driven by a recoil mechanic.

Players control a character equipped with a rotating gun that orbits around them, aiming with the mouse. The game features two types of attacks: a normal shot with a quick cooldown and a stronger shot with greater recoil and longer cooldown.
